Printing Process

What is a giclée print?

The term giclée was adopted with the intention of distinguishing "fine art prints"
created with digital output from those for non-art or commercial purposes.

The word giclée (pronounced jee-clay) is a derivation of the french words gicleur
(nozzle) and gicler (to spray). Translating to "spraying nozzle", which is how most
digital printers direct ink onto various surfaces.
